While I don't claim to have all of your answers, I would love to support and empower you to transform your health and wellbeing by using a sustainable step-by-step process that is accessible, simple and nurturing.
I have been in your shoes and I have experienced and witnessed throughout my decades of teaching a lot of incredibly gifted and hard-working teachers lose their drive and passion, I’ve seen them feel weighed down by various circumstances and expectations. I’ve seen and heard stories about it all seeming too much. Worst of all, I have seen many phenomenal teachers leave the profession. I feel very disheartened when I see incredible teachers feeling exhausted and stressed with no time to spare holding out for the weekend or the next school holidays. When I am in various schools, I see these scenarios on a daily basis.
Sometimes I speak to teachers in passing and we will talk about times when they used to be full of optimism and enthusiasm about teaching. My observation from these discussions is that the passion is still there however it is covered over a little. Perhaps there is some disillusion while also being so incredibly difficult to see clearly and problem-solve when there are excessive amounts of stress.
Amongst all of the stress and overwhelm I still see teachers doing a remarkable job. What I would love to see is teachers doing a remarkable job without negatively impacting their wellbeing and without teachers pushing beyond what is reasonable. I genuinely believe teachers are some of the most caring, compassionate and generous people on the planet. However, it is this deep caring for what we do (and wanting to do even more) that can lead us into overwhelm and excessive amounts of stress.
We do what we do because we care so deeply but wouldn’t it be great to do all of this and feel energised, centred and calm?

I created quite a lengthy course and then realised that teachers who needed this the most didn’t have the time or energy, even if they genuinely wanted to do the course.

👉 What if I miss a week?
✅ Simply jump back in when you can and remember to have kindness and compassion for yourself. Learning can have ups and downs and both are important for our progress. Connect with the community and reach out for support and inspiration.
👉 Who is it for?
✅ The program is specifically designed for teachers to take steps towards enhanced health and wellbeing for their own benefit and for the benefit of the children they teach. This can be achieved with minimal time and effort within in a supportive community of like-minded teachers.
👉 How long will I have access to the course for?
✅ Your payment entitles you to 180 days of access (from date of payment). For your convenience and continued access to course materials, there is no expiry date set. This means you will not lose access to the course after 180 days. Your access will remain for the life of the app. If you have any questions regarding access to course materials, please email info@nourishedteachers.com
👉 What if I sign up and find the course isn’t the right fit for me?
✅ There is a 7-day refund policy for the Stress Relief Mini Course. If the course isn’t for you, request a refund within 7 days of signing up. Email info@nourishedteachers.com if you purchased the course through Apple or Google Play as an In-App Purchase, you will need to contact them for a refund.
👉 How much time will I need to invest each week?
✅ The minimum recommendation is 15min per week which can be spread out over the week and the maximum time is up to you. There will be prompts and suggestions throughout the course and some weeks will have optional activities if you would like a little more. The course is designed for you to dedicate the amount of time that feels right for you in each moment.
👉 What if I sign up and can’t complete the course? (e.g., I travel to a remote island where there is no wifi)😁
✅ You can download lessons and you will still be able to complete the course in your own time but you will miss completing and experiencing the course with other teachers in real time which can be the highlight and most supportive and inspiring part of the course. Optimally completing the course with a community will bring the best results but you can complete it later and in your own time if that suits you better.
👉 Why are there set times throughout the year for the course to run?
✅ I value the importance of community and sharing our experiences which is why courses are scheduled. Also, I offer my support and feedback each step of the way meaning I pick times of the year when I can offer that level of support before I run a course. Additionally, course completion is higher when we have each other ’s support and encouragement and we can learn from, hear from and experience together. Wellbeing is a lifelong commitment so why do it alone? In saying that you can also choose to enrol whenever you like and complete the course independently. You can also complete it again when it runs as a group if you would like.
👉 I already have an established and meaningful wellbeing practice. Is this course for me?
✅ This course is designed to support teachers who aren’t sure where to start. It is very accessible and the outcomes are achievable for everyone. If you have previous experience and decide to sign up, you will have an opportunity to be part of an amazing teacher wellbeing community where you will be able to offer support and inspiration from your experiences. About Alison
Alison – Wellness Coach, Self-Care Advocate & Creator of Inner Calm Wisdom
Alison is a primary school teacher, meditation teacher, wellness coach, self-care advocate and creator of Inner Calm Wisdom. She has training in psychology, meditation, mindfulness, and breathwork. Alison is passionate about creating nurturing and nourishing environments for both teachers and students, helping educators find balance, reduce stress, and cultivate well-being.
Throughout her teaching career, Alison has empowered teachers to reignite their love and joy for teaching by providing tips to reduce stress, regardless of circumstances, and find peace within.
