Root & Sacral Chakra Practice – Building a Strong Foundation (Week 1)

The short meditation audio above focuses on the first two chakras — the Root (Lam) and Sacral (Vam). These energy centres help us feel safe, grounded, and emotionally balanced. When they’re in harmony, we feel more present in our bodies, steady in ourselves, and open to joy and creative flow. This gentle sound practice helps clear, balance, and activate your foundation — ready to build upon in future sessions.

Daily Practice

  • Explore some mindful movement. Whatever feels right for you!

  • Rest your awareness on your Root Chakra. Lam x 9

  • Rest your awareness on your Sacral Chakra Vam x 9

  • Be with your experience for a few moments

Tip: Try tuning into these chakras during moments of anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional heaviness. Softly repeating the mantras can help you feel more grounded in your body and gently reawaken your sense of ease, flow, and belonging.

Solar Plexus & Heart Chakra Practice – Inner Strength & Compassion (Week 2)

The short meditation audio above explores the next two energy centres — the Solar Plexus (Ram) and the Heart (Yam). These chakras support your inner strengthwillpower, and capacity for love and connection. When balanced, they help you feel confident in your actions and open-hearted in your relationships. This gentle sound-based practice helps clear, energise, and harmonise your personal power with your heart’s wisdom.

Daily Practice

  • Explore some mindful movement. Whatever feels right for you!

  • Rest your awareness on your Solar Plexus. Ram x 9

  • Rest your awareness on your Heart. Yam x 9

  • Notice how your body and energy respond.

  • You might like to then create a practice with last week’s mantras.

Tip: Try tuning into these chakras during moments of self-doubt, tension, or disconnection. Softly repeating the mantras can reconnect you to your inner fire and the steady beat of compassion.

Throat & Third Eye Chakra Practice – Expression & Inner Vision (Week 3)

The short meditation audio above focuses on the Throat (Ham) and Third Eye (Om) chakras — the centres of authentic expression and inner wisdom. These energy points help you communicate clearlylisten deeply, and trust your intuition. When harmonised, they support truthful connection with yourself and others, and a broader sense of insight and clarity. This sound-based practice invites you to awaken and align these subtle spaces through vibration and presence.

Daily Practice

  • Settle your breath and body with a moment of stillness or gentle movement.

  • Rest your awareness on your Throat Chakra. Ham x 9

  • Rest your awareness on your Third Eye. Om x 9

  • Stay with what you sense or feel—without needing to analyse.

Tip: You can return to these sounds anytime you feel unheard, unclear, or disconnected from your deeper knowing. The vibration of mantra can gently reconnect you to your voice and vision.

Crown Chakra Practice – Returning to Oneness (Week 4)

This final meditation above centres on the Crown Chakra, the space of spiritual connection, openness, and unity. Representing the pure awareness that underlies all layers of being, the Crown invites us into a felt sense of wholeness and belonging — within ourselves and with the wider web of life. The mantra Om Namah Shivaya honours the sacred within and gently guides us back to our centre.

This is a soft, spacious practice — not something to grasp for, but to gently rest into. Let yourself simply be.

Daily Practice

  • Begin with stillness or mindful breathing. Feel into the spaciousness around the crown of your head.

  • Silently or aloud, chant: Om Namah Shivaya x 9

  • Let the words settle into silence.

  • Be with the stillness, the presence, the inner connection.

Tip: You don’t need to feel ‘enlightened’ or transcendent — just open. Return to this practice when you need perspective, quiet, or a reminder of your deeper self.

Origin of the Mantras

The bija mantras — Lam, Vam, Ram, Yam, Ham, Om — and the sacred mantra Om Namah Shivaya come from ancient Hindu traditions, where sound is seen as a powerful force for healing, connection, and awakening. Each bija mantra resonates with one of the body’s subtle energy centres (chakras), helping to balance and support us on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, while Om Namah Shivaya invites us to remember our deeper nature — beyond thoughts, roles, and fluctuations — and return to a place of peace and presence.

When we chant or receive these mantras, we do so with gratitude — acknowledging the rich traditions from which they come, and the universal wisdom they carry.
